Most rock artists who are inspired by parenthood end up recording a kids’ album. But Flea from the Red Hot Chili Peppers took more of a “Save the Music” approach. In 2001, he co-founded a music conservatory in LA. And this summer, on a break from touring, he’ll be teaching bass there! Imagine telling people about what your kids are doing over the summer: “Um, yeah, my son is going to this really awesome basketball camp, and my daughter is going to take bass lessons with Flea.
