Take a look at this presentation created by Karl Fisch. I know it’s long, but it has some amazing points about how quickly technology is changing our world.

Especially mind-blowing:

- As of September 2006, MySpace had more than 106 million registered users. If MySpace were a country, it would be the 11th largest in the world — between Japan and Mexico.

- One out of every eight couples married in the U.S. last year met online.

- Nintendo invested more than $140 million in research and development in a single year — 2002 — while the U.S. government spent less than half that on research and innovation in education.

Amazing, no?
